Medicare Advantage Market Snapshot: Cincinnati Area

A total of 60,945 beneficiaries, or roughly 40% of Medicare eligibles, are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans in Hamilton County, Ohio, as of July 2018. Among 14 market participants, Humana Inc. holds the highest market share with more than 15,800 enrollees, with Aetna Inc. trailing closely behind. Mutual of Omaha and Bright Health both recently unveiled plans to enter the Cincinnati MA market this fall.
