TDI eliminates duplicate review of Medicaid networks

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has issued a bulletin temporarily suspending duplicate reviews of CHIP and Medicaid provider networks while the agency considers rule changes to eliminate the duplication of effort. Provider networks for CHIP and Medicaid are reviewed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
