A Public Health Approach to Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias Training Curriculum

A Public Health Approach to Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias Training Curriculum

Alzheimer’s disease has continued to gain national attention as a public health crisis. In response, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Alzheimer’s Association, and Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health developed resources to prepare future public health professionals.

A Public Health Approach to Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias is a complimentary online video series that introduces public health students and other health professional learners to the fundamentals of cognitive health, cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer’s and other dementias through various learning modules.  Each module includes a faculty guide, presentation slides with talking points, select case studies, and video resources.
