ACL Webinar
5/21: Navigating Older American’s Act Title III-D During the COVID-19
Pandemic
Friday, May 21, 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET
Register for the webinar.
This webinar was rescheduled from April 23.
The Aging Network has always played a vital role in ensuring
older adults have access to the supports they need to remain healthy and
independent. Yet months of staying home and being less active have taken
a toll on the well-being of many older adults. The American
Rescue Plan provides new investments in Older Americans Act
(OAA) Title III-D programs to help grantees and their delivery networks
build additional capacity for and deliver evidence-based health promotion
and disease prevention programs.
This webinar will highlight best practices for selecting and
delivering evidence-based health promotion and disease prevention
programs – including programs delivered in remote and/or in-person,
socially-distanced formats. Attendees will hear from three ACL grant
recipients about the strategies they are employing to deliver these
programs during the pandemic, and the lessons they have learned along the
way.
