Biden expected to fall short of commitment to globally share vaccines this month

Due to regulatory issues and other challenges, the Biden administration is expected to miss his goal of sending 80 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to other countries by the end of June, officials announced today. "What we’ve found to be the biggest challenge is not actually the supply — we have plenty of doses to share with the world — but this is a Herculean logistical challenge," said White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
