TDI adopts rule for SB 1264 balance billing disclosure

The Texas Department of Insurance has adopted a rule on the narrow exception to the state’s surprise billing protections under Senate Bill 1264. TDI posted an emergency version of the rule in December and has now adopted the disclosure requirements through the regular rulemaking process.
