AGID has a new
name!
The Administration for Community Living is proud to announce a
change in name for our data portal website (https://agid.acl.gov/) from the AGing
Integrated Database to the AGing,
Independence, and Disability (AGID) Program Data Portal.
The new name reflects the full scope of our mission to
“Maximize the independence, well-being, and health of older adults, people
with disabilities across the lifespan, and their families and caregivers”.
The new AGID now has links to Administration on Disabilities
(AoD) program data, as well as new data products from the Administration on
Aging’s (AoA) programs and reporting systems.
A few of the major enhancements include:
On the “Data Files”
page, this page now includes links to:
- Administration on
Disabilities programs’ data;
- Administration on
Disabilities funded data collection activities;
- Current Administration on
Aging evaluation activities; and
- Contact information for
people asked to participate in AoA surveys or studies, or who are
interested in accessing evaluation data for research purposes
We are in the process of adding disability data files, which
include Administration on Disabilities Programs annual performance data
from the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities,
Independent Living Administration Programs’ annual performance data, and
Administration on Disabilities Programs Project of National Significance
Data – longitudinal data collection projects.
The “Resources”
page now includes a feature providing users with a variety of new data
products such as Data Stories, Blog Posts,
and Issue Briefs created
from AoA's State Program Reports, Title VI Services, National Family
Caregiver Support Program, and National Survey of Older Americans Act
Participants. New data products from these programs will be posted during
the next few months. Look for new data products from the National Ombudsman
Reporting System to be posted in the near future!
