TDI encourages early use of disclosure for short-term health policies

Senate Bill 1852 requires a disclosure form be included with short-term limited-duration health insurance applications and policies. Although rules for the form are not finalized, TDI encourages carriers to include similar disclosure information as soon as possible—particularly for policies that are marketed and sold to consumers who may be looking for alternative coverage during the HealthCare.gov open enrollment.
