Air Force cans 40 recruits and trainees who refused coronavirus vaccine as mandate deadline looms

About 23 of the 40 were in basic training, while the others had completed basic training and were undergoing their technical training when they were separated from the service. The recruits received entry-level discharges, meaning they may reenlist if they choose to get the vaccine in the future.
