Veterans with PTSD could qualify for service dogs through PAWS Act

After nearly a decade of bureaucratic slowdowns, advocacy efforts and stalled legislation, veterans may be getting increased access to one of the more effective treatments for combat-related mental health conditions: a service dog.

Report: Former Marine released from solitary confinement in Russian prison

Maryland military canine vying for national award for service

Summer was recently named the nation's "Military Dog of the Year" in the 2021 American Humane Hero Dog Awards, after being nominated by her trainer, retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Micah Jones. Sturgis Motorcycle Rally honors service members, veterans

The rally celebrated and honored those who have served their country Tuesday with a special Military Appreciation Day motorcycle ride and a ceremony at Harley-Davidson Rally Point Plaza. Two B-1B bombers from Ellsworth Air Force Base flew over downtown Sturgis.
