You're not alone if you're having trouble getting an appointment to get a
booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Though there are plenty of vaccines
to go around, getting an
appointment on the books is proving more challenging.
There are about 1,000 vaccine locations for the boosters across the
state, but many are showing little to no availability in the coming
weeks.
Meanwhile, you may be wondering: does it count as being "fully
vaccinated" if you're past the six-month mark and haven't gotten
your booster dose?
Put
simply, yes. Health leaders haven't formally changed the
definition of fully vaccinated. However, some experts say they expect
boosters could become a standard part of the COVID-19 vaccine regimen in
the future.
