HIV & Aging Funding Opportunities from Health

On October 26, 2021,
HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) released three notices of
funding opportunities related to HIV and aging for
fiscal year (FY) 2022 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)
Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Program
initiative.
Aging with HIV is an important topic for the RWHAP. In
2019, nearly half of people served by the program were 50
years and older. Health and other concerns change as people
with HIV grow older, and their health care and social
services providers need to respond differently.
Funded organizations will use HAB's frameworks for SPNS and
implementation science to identify, refine, evaluate, and
share emerging ways to screen and manage health
conditions and other concerns of people 50 years and older
with HIV.
