Grandview Research: The U.S. sex reassignment surgery market size was valued at USD 1.9
billion in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate
(CAGR) of 11.23 percent from 2022 to 2030. The rising incidences of gender
dysphoria and the increasing number of people opting for gender confirmation
surgeries are expected to boost the growth during the forecast period

surrounding transgender surgeries is expected to reach $5 billion by the end
of the decade… While insurance companies such as Aetna and Unicare may cover
some components of sex reassignment surgeries, including hysterectomies and
