Medicaid Work Requirements

 

Medicaid work requirements are in the news again due to a new push by House Republicans to make work requirements part of a deal to raise the debt ceiling. KFF’s president and CEO, Dr. Drew Altman, recently shared facts about the issue, noting that most people on Medicaid already work full- or part-time, and most others aren’t working for reasons that likely would exempt them.
