Get your flu shot, if you haven't already

Get your flu shot

This flu season, protect yourself and your loved ones by getting the flu shot. It's the best way to protect against flu and its potentially serious complications. The flu can be very serious, especially if you're 65 or older.

Flu shots are covered for people with Medicare, when you get it from a doctor, pharmacy, or other health care provider that accepts Medicare or your Medicare plan.

Get Your Flu Shot

Remember, flu and COVID-19 vaccines help protect you from different viruses. The flu shot reduces the risk of flu illness and doesn't protect against COVID-19. Likewise, the COVID-19 vaccine is the best protection against the COVID-19 disease and doesn't protect against flu. Both vaccines, however, can be given at the same time.

Visit Vaccines.gov to find COVID-19 and flu vaccines near you.

Sincerely,

The Medicare Team
