Wisconsin last week became the latest state to get...
...CMS's
approval on Medicaid work requirements, and the first state to win approval
that has not expanded Medicaid. Wisconsin has 981,586 Medicaid beneficiaries,
about 178,000 of whom will become subject to 80 hour per month work
requirements, as well as small monthly premiums and copayments. This may change,
however, if Tony Evers (D), who is opposed to work requirements, wins tonight's
tight gubernatorial race in the state.
