About the Role of Chronic Disease Self-Management Education in the Opioid
Epidemic

The opioid epidemic is impacting every community across the
country, and older adults are particularly hard hit for a number of
reasons. Join the Self-Management Resource Center, the National Council on
Aging, and the Evidence-Based Leadership Council for a discussion about the
role of chronic disease self-management education in addressing the opioid
epidemic. This webinar will provide a forum to ask questions about opioid
use in older adults and the applicability of the Chronic Pain
Self-Management Program as a tool for prevention and management.
