Healthcare purchased 24 MedSpring urgent care centers from Fresenius Medical
Care in July, all locations in the Dallas Fort-Worth, Austin and Houston areas.
As of
October 1, these locations will be rebranded as CareNow urgent care. CareNow
will now have 77 locations across the state of Texas, making it the largest
provider of urgent care in the state.
With
over 70 Texas clinics and 140-plus facilities nationwide, CareNow locations are
staffed with board-qualified physicians and other highly qualified healthcare
providers, which are available to treat minor injuries and illnesses including
cuts, burns, muscle strains, broken bones, common colds and the flu.
These clinics will also specialize in:

On-site lab work and X-rays
·
Occupational medicine
·
Physical exams
·
Flu shots
·
Sports physicals
