McConnell: No Further Stimulus Without Litigation Protection for Businesses

Senator McConnell explained “That’s the only way we’re going to ultimately begin to get past this” (Fox News).

Colleges are among those dealing with massive legal liability should they reopen anytime soon (The Hill).

Another story notes “President Trump warned Democrats Tuesday that he will demand “adjustments” for sanctuary cities as a condition of bailout aid for states, as both parties take increasingly partisan paths toward the next round of emergency coronavirus relief” (Washington Times).

From Ed Morrissey: Going to work in the midst of a pandemic is “essential” for doctors, nurses, first responders, and even grocery store workers and delivery people. House Democrats don’t think it’s “essential” for a Congress in the middle of a national emergency and a $3 *trillion* spending spree (Twitter).
