Promoting Mental Health Is Also Part of Creating Inclusive Workplaces

Earlier this month, D CEO, our wonderful business magazine, organized a panel about mental health awareness in the workplace as a part of its diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership series. This month’s panel focused on the role of mental health in an inclusive workplace.

 

The takeaway, Sharoon Gill says, is that taking into account the mental health of colleagues should also be a part of any discussion about inclusivity.

 

The panel included experts in this field, who provided a lot of insight into what that looks like—and its importance.

 

Sharoon writes: "They need to be sensitive about how events impact their coworkers, recognize reality, and value mental health, now more than ever."
