Leading Through Crisis, Week I

Albert Einstein said:

"In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity."

He meant, when you face trouble, a problem or complications, there is the chance to find a way to resolve it and learn from the experience.

COVID-19 created Problems but also has created OPPORTUNITIES.

Wow! Such an amazing week! So much happened in one week. I had an incredible webinar with three of the best business leaders in the country this past Saturday, March 28th:

Rob McCoy; City Councilman & Former Mayor.

Victor Arceo; Entrepreneur and Community Leader.

Roger Doumanian; Business Attorney, Consultant & Coach.

The COVID19 / Coronavirus Pandemic has caught the world by surprise and has left many scrambling for answers and solutions. Every corporation, business, church, non-profit organization, and entrepreneur is feeling the impact on their bottom line and facing some very tough decisions. I had the opportunity to bring together three talented business professionals to tackle the COVID19 disaster head-on and provide business owners with invaluable guidance and resources to help them weather the storm and overcome the barriers.

During the COVID19 Business Survival webinar that was completely sold out, we addressed their concerns, shared invaluable resources, and empowered leadership in these challenging times. A 90-Minute FREE Webinar was well-received by all the participants.

Due to overwhelming demand, and the uniqueness of this situation, we were asked to continue the webinars for another 2-3 weeks. I am so glad to tell that we decided to do so.

Our next guest speaker is Mr. Eszylfie Taylor; CEO of Taylor Insurance & Financial Services. A self-made man from humble roots, Mr. Taylor is the president and founder of Taylor Insurance & Financial Services, located in the financial district of Pasadena, California, and serves as financial advisor to individuals, business owners, and high net worth families.

This Time, Can We Finally Turn COVID-19 Crisis Into an Amazing Opportunity?

Adversity causes some men to break; others to break records!

As I reflect every morning before I start my day, there are some important thoughts I want to share with you as we are starting this exciting new decade together: When I first came to this country, there were many reasons and excuses I had not to succeed. I didn't speak the language or understand the culture. I had a lot of challenges. But I was determined to make things work no matter what, and I refused to give up.

That experience taught me something critical I think everyone should remember-YOUR MINDSET DETERMINES YOUR DESTINY. Without a positive mindset, you can't accomplish anything. Great successes often start with many rejections and failures. But people's rejection can also be God's way of pointing you in the right direction-and everything worth accomplishing in life has a price. If you fail, fail forward, If you fall seven times, make sure you get up eight. But don't stop, no matter what.

It's time to turn this COVID-19 into fantastic opportunities. Don't use #covidexcuses in life. Make the best of the chances that it's bringing to you.

I believe we all have greatness within us. But it's up to us to find it, develop it, invest in it, and use it. God is not average, and he doesn't create AVERAGE people, so YOU ARE NOT AVERAGE, YOU ARE A GIFTED AND TALENTED PERSON. You have what it takes to be the best you can be.

This Time, Can We Finally Turn COVID-19 Crisis Into an Amazing Opportunity?

Stop Giving Covidexcuses!

covidexcuses:

Attempt to lessen the blame due to COVID-19, seek to defend or justify. Release from a duty or requirement using COVID-19 as an excuse for everything. A reason or explanation put forward to support a fault and blaming the lockdown caused by COVID-19.

It's a poor or inadequate example of someone who doesn't want to adapt to the new normal-not accepting ownership, complaining about how wrong everything is due to the virus outbreak. Constantly being part of the problem, and not part Of the solution.

There can be no possible covidexcuses for any further delay.

Stop Giving Covidexcuses!

Only Your Faith Can Make Your Fears Go Away!

Love of people impacts your business, leadership, and influence. "You can't lead without love and love of God."

To better illuminate this concept, we must understand the power and potential of love. Love is the force behind success in all aspects of life. Fear is what holds everyone back from achieving their dreams and attaining success. Often it is thought that courage is the opposite of fear. Nevertheless, this is not true. Love is the opposite of fear and FAITH is the key to all success!

FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real

While LOVE is Leadership through Optimism, Values, and Endurance

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Only Your Faith Can Make Your Fears Go Away!

"Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right." Henry Ford

When I hear the words "I can't," 90% of the time it's the result of an individual lacking the "right vision."

Doubting thoughts are the result of one lacking direction and clarity of vision (doubts create distractions). Life is challenging. Regardless of the obstacles, you're currently faced with, always remember that having the right vision in conjunction with a solid action plan, will allow you to transform any negative situation into a positive and desirable outcome!

Yes, You Can! YOU CAN Turn Your:

·        Adversity into Your Advantage
·        Mess into Your Message
·        Test into Your Testimony
·        Pain into Your Possibilities
·        Setback into a Major Comeback
·        Gift into Greatness
·        Passion into Profit
·        Success into Significance
·        Limitations into Legacy

Most importantly, you can and will turn your dreams into reality!

Vision alone isn't enough, you need the fire within.

"Vision + The Fire Within = Transformation"

Your Mindset Today!

Communication is not an act, it is an art.

It is the:

1. Art of Asking Questions

When you ask questions, you indicate that you are interested and invested in the other person and the conversation.

2. Art of Listening

When you are actively listening, you are allowing the other person to express themselves freely. You are showing them that their presence is important and their thoughts worth hearing.

3. Art of Connecting

Communication is meant to go beyond just the verbal or nonverbal exchange of words; it is meant to connect two or more people on a deeper and more meaningful level. When you connect with someone, you assure them that they are understood and vice versa.

4. Art of Challenging

A valuable conversation is always meant to inspire you to take action. It is all about inspiring someone to take massive action on what they have just discussed with you and to get their commitment to follow through.

Communication is not a two-way street. It is a bridge. Either you have one or you build one. It's about connecting, not correcting.

Communication is not an act; it is an art.

When it comes to innovation, never let a crisis go to waste. If you missed this week's a power-packed webinar on COVID19 and your business, here is your chance to join us on this Saturday. You don't want to miss this. The first one was a big hit, don't miss the second one. SPACE IS LIMITED.

SPECIAL GUEST: Eszylfie Taylor
