Tolling claim submission deadlines

TDI reminds health plans and health providers that state law allows providers to toll claims submission deadlines when they can’t meet the deadline due to a catastrophic event, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. See TDI’s bulletin for instructions on how to notify TDI when tolling the deadline.

This bulletin does not apply to workers’ compensation claims. For information about workers’ compensation billing deadlines, see bulletin #B-0010-20.
