Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) last week said...
...UnitedHealthcare will join
Kaiser Permanente and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in the state's 2021 ACA
exchange market. United's presence in the individual markets has dropped
dramatically since its high of 34 states in 2016, with the insurer now
enrolling about 153,000 exchange members in just three states. Gov. Hogan said
about 29,000 people have newly enrolled in Maryland's exchange throughout the
state's special coronavirus open enrollment period, which will run through June
15.
