The Trump administration last month granted...
...Kentucky
another chance at adding work requirements to its Medicaid program, after the
state said it would overhaul its monitoring of the program's impact on Medicaid
beneficiaries. Kentucky currently serves about 1.47 million Medicaid members.
Following a lawsuit from Medicaid advocates, a federal judge in June blocked
the original program a day before it was set to begin. A similar court case is
currently pending in Arkansas, where more than 10,000 people have lost Medicaid
coverage after work requirements were added to the program.
