Democrats Begin Investigating Trump for Handling of Coronavirus
This seething, anti-Trump opinion piece notes that Adam Schiff is at it
again (Washington Post). From Kimberly
Strassel: The Trump administration spent this week distributing ventilators,
standing up small-business loans, dispatching hospital ships, erecting
alternate care facilities, explaining virus modeling, revamping regulations to
keep truckers on the road, and plastering the airwaves with information about
hygiene and social distancing. Speaker Nancy Pelosi spent this week setting up
a new House committee to investigate Donald Trump. Nothing separates the
shallow from the serious faster than high-stakes moments (WSJ). From Kimberly Ross: These are
unprecedented times. It’s one thing to criticize the president when needed, as
has been done when reflecting on his initial tone. It’s another thing to hope
he fails in his role as our leader. Whether or not you want Trump to win in
November, we should all be hoping he succeeds now (Washington Examiner).
