New York Has Over 40 Percent of the Cases in the United States

Nearly 60,000 as of late Sunday night (NY Times). In a seven hour stretch Sunday morning, 98 people died in New York City (NY Post).  

From New York reporter Erin Durkin Sunday: Today 13% of the NYPD is out sick, 4,651 officers. Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said he expects 900 to have tested positive for coronavirus by tomorrow morning (Twitter). 

The disease is growing in Louisiana, especially in New Orleans (LA Department of Health).
