Saying “every step that they made, everything that they said was
wrong and always in favor of China” (Fox News). The US is rethinking their
funding of WHO (Red State).

Editorial Board: Congress should investigate Chinese influence on the WHO, and the U.S.
should use its ample funding of the organization as leverage to demand
transparency about its dealings with China. Our continued participation in the
WHO should be in play. In its moment of testing, the organization kowtowed to
Beijing rather than serve the public interest, and the world paid the price
(National Review).
The New York Times responded
with this overtly biased tweet: President Trump threatened to withhold funding
from the World Health Organization even as a deadly virus ravages nations
around the globe. He tried to blame the W.H.O. for the very missteps and failures
that have been leveled at him and his administration (Twitter).
