It's no secret that the pandemic not only demonstrated a
real need for public health experts but also contributed to an increased
interest in public health professions.
UT Southwestern Medical
Center announced this week that it would launch the Peter O’Donnell Jr. School
of Public Health, the first new graduate program at the school in 50 years.
It will welcome its
first class of graduate students in 2023.
