Blood cancer survivors need all
the help, hope, and support they can get.
Roy knows that all too well. Diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM)
in 2006, he has had two relapses and, seventeen years later, is
currently in partial remission. Roy is a husband, a father of
two, a grandfather of six—and his
family’s hero. He continues to push forward, despite
the pain and issues that come with MM, and he knows The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
will be with him every step of the way.

Eager
to raise funds and awareness for others, Roy and his wife Rhonda
have volunteered for Light The Night where he has
served as a mission moment speaker. Rhonda has also served on
LLS’s Mission Committee in Greater Los Angeles. Even as Roy
continues his own journey, it’s about paying it forward, however
they can.
This Myeloma Awareness Month, and all year long, LLS is here for
myeloma patients and survivors, offering free access to:
LLS
will always support survivors like Roy and his family throughout
their journeys, so they can reach better tomorrows. But we can’t
do it without you! No matter the amount, every dollar will count.
