As states begin to release Medicaid enrollment data from...
...the second quarter of 2020,
the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on public sector programs is starting to
take shape. For example, from February to May, Arizona saw a boost of 81,344
Medicaid enrollees, growing 4.3% to 1.96 million lives. From February to April,
West Virginia saw gains of 13,119 lives, growing 2.5% to 537,166 enrollees,
while North Carolina saw an addition of 38,572 Medicaid members, a 1.8% boost
that brings its total Medicaid population to 2.22 million lives.
