...the Blue Cross Blue Shield Institute last week launched FoodQ, a service that delivers healthy meals to people living in food deserts, areas with limited access to affordable, healthy, fresh foods. The service will initially focus on 25 counties in Chicago and 15 counties in Dallas. HCSC currently has 464,135 public sector members in Illinois and 61,654 in Texas, though anyone living in the target counties is eligible to sign up for FoodQ deliveries, regardless of insured status.
