DALLAS — February 7, 2019
— Integrity Marketing Group, LLC (“Integrity”), the nation’s largest
independent distributor of life and health insurance products, today
announced it has acquired NEAT Management Group (“NEAT Management” or
“the Company”), one of the largest distributors of Final Expense Life
Insurance products in the United States. As part of the deal, Tim J.
McCoy, the company’s owner, becomes an owner in Integrity. Financial
terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
J.H. Mac McCoy entered the insurance industry
in 1940 as a life insurance agent, paving the way for younger generations
of McCoys. NEAT Management was founded in 1973 by his son, Charles H.
“Tim” McCoy, and in 1975, Tim J. McCoy joined his father at NEAT.
Together they grew the business to one of the most recognized brands in
the Senior Market. In 2001, Shea McCoy joined his father and grandfather
at NEAT, becoming the fourth generation of McCoy men in the insurance
business.
NEAT Management will continue to be led
by Tim J. McCoy and will operate under its own brand. All of NEAT’s
employees will continue in their current roles in their Austin, Texas
headquarters.
“Both Integrity and NEAT have had a long
history of helping insurance companies enter the Senior Market so it just
made sense to join forces,” said Tim J. McCoy. “Integrity gives us the
ability to diversify and grow our business to new heights, while
continuing our own legacy spanning four generations. I’m thrilled to
become a partner in Integrity.”
