The Centers for Medicare
& Medicaid Services (CMS) is pleased to announce the 2019 Hospital
Quality Star Ratings Listening Session to be held on September 19,
2019 in Baltimore, Maryland. This all-day listening session is an
opportunity for CMS to hear from a diverse group of stakeholders with
varied perspectives and exchange ideas around Hospital Quality Star
Ratings. The listening session will include large group discussions as
well as a series of small group break-out sessions, during which CMS will
seek broad feedback about various aspects of Hospital Quality Star
Ratings, including methodology, usability, and potential future

There are two ways to
participate in the full-day listening session, which is to be held on
September 19, 2019:
1. To attend the in-person
meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, please register by clicking here. Space is
extremely limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first come,
first serve basis. We request that you please register only if you plan
to attend. Up to two registrants will be allowed per organization to
attend.
2. The session will also be
broadcast via web conference line. If you are unable to join the
in-person meeting, you can register here to
participate in the large group sessions. Please register in advance if
you can attend as space on the listening lines will be limited. We hope
