...WellCare Health Plans, Inc. took
a big step forward last week, with Centene announcement that 17 states
insurance departments, including WellCare's home state of Florida, have given
the deal their approval. The combined company would serve 21.6% of the managed
Medicaid market, with nearly 12 million members.
