Sept 20: Action Plan to Prevent Opioid Addiction and Enhance Access to
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Register today to join a public meeting on the development of
a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Action Plan to Prevent
Opioid Addiction and Enhance Access to Medication-Assisted Treatment
(SUPPORT Act).
During this public meeting, attendees will learn about HHS and
CMS activities to address the opioid epidemic, pain management, and
substance use disorders. Experts from the federal government, advocacy
communities, the research, treatment, clinical, and medical industry will
share key information, with opportunities for public input.
The public meeting will take place on Friday, September 20,
2019, in the CMS Auditorium located at 7500 Security Boulevard, Baltimore,
MD 21244, and live streamed for virtual attendees.
