Media Still Reporting China Numbers as If True

From NBC News yesterday, as seen in the screen shot above: U.S. reports 1,264 coronavirus deaths in over 24 hours. Meanwhile in China, where the pandemic broke out, not a single new coronavirus death was reported (Twitter).

From Nikki Haley: Come on @NBCNews. This is embarrassing. You discredit yourself when you tout China’s propaganda. #KnowYourSource (Twitter).  From Ted Cruz: Under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, 22 USC 611 et seq, I’m pretty sure NBC is now legally obligated to close every broadcast with—and append to every tweet—“this message paid for by the Communist Party of China” (Twitter).

ABC News got into the act, declaring definitively “COVID-19 has killed at least 12,000 people in the U.S., and with nearly 400,000 people diagnosed the U.S. has more cases than any other country” (Twitter).  From Dan Crenshaw: I wish our media was just as skeptical of President Xi as they are of President Trump. Instead, China’s false numbers are reported without question. I’m not asking for much, just consistency. There’s a communist regime engaging in a coverup, and our press refuses to expose it (Twitter).
