NY Times Story on Hydroxychloroquine and Trump Has Grossly Flawed Premise

The New York Times accused Trump of pushing the drug for financial gain (New York Times).  David Harsanyi called it “one of the most ridiculous articles published by mainstream media in the Trump era — though, admittedly, the field is highly competitive. But while knee-jerk anti-Trumpism is expected, the angry obsession over the president’s championing of hydroxychloroquine is uniquely ugly” (National Review).

So POTUS owns a few thousand dollars of a mutual fund that owns a small price of a company & because he could make tens of dollars that’s why he’s hopeful about a drug? They don’t say that owns between $29 & $435 because narrative! (Twitter).

Two federal agencies have placed orders for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of hydroxychloroquine (NY Post).
