Pfizer and
BioNTech are seeking emergency use authorization for a second
booster of their COVID-19 vaccine for people 65 and older, while
Cambridge-based Moderna
is seeking emergency use authorization for a second booster for all
adults.
Some experts are calling for second booster shots to be given now, my colleague
Martin Finucane reported.
The FDA's panel of outside experts will meet on April 6
to discuss the United States' booster strategy.
