about the disease only add to the stigma and social disconnect. In
the latest issue of ALZ
magazine, four members of the Alzheimer's
Association National Early-Stage Advisory Group share five
things they want everyone to know about living with Alzheimer’s.

Too much TV time may increase dementia risk for
older adults
|
Excessive
TV viewing may increase dementia risk, but lots of computer use
may protect against cognitive decline, new research suggests.
The key difference is that watching TV is considered passive,
while activities like reading or computer use require some
mental engagement. More frequent exercise and being socially
and cognitively engaged may also reduce the risk of cognitive
decline.
