In an effort to increase access to health care...
...as the novel coronavirus
spreads, the state of Virginia has temporarily eliminated all Medicaid
copayment requirements. Virginia currently serves 1,149,850 Medicaid
beneficiaries, with 96.3% enrolled in managed care plans. The state has also
extended prescription refills to 90 days and expanded telehealth coverage, Gov.
Ralph Northam (D) said last week.
