Letter from the Chairman It’s hard to believe that we are already more than three-quarters through this year. Much like last year, 2021 has been full of ongoing challenges and new opportunities to adapt to them. Through it all, my team and I at the VLB have been focused on improving our outreach to Veterans across Texas. With the year quickly coming to an end, October is a key time to continue this important work. See You at an Upcoming Benefits Fair The VLB is proud to partner with our statewide network of Veteran advocacy groups. This month, we are staying busy across the state hosting and participating in numerous benefits fairs this month. Look for one closest to you and come see how the VLB can serve you. Holiday wreath laying just around the corner The holiday season just around the corner, the Veterans Land Board team is partnering with communities and volunteer groups to coordinate wreath laying events at our four state-owned Veterans Cemeteries. Each year, these cemeteries are beautified by hundreds of volunteers around the holidays. Keep an eye out for an event near you by visiting the calendar page below.   EVENT CALENDAR
