The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS) Atlanta Regional Office is inviting health professionals,
providers and stakeholders to attend the Hospital Compare Listening Session.
The region includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,
Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
CMS updated hospital performance
data on the Hospital Compare website and on data.medicare.gov. This update
empowers patients, families, and stakeholders with important information they
need to compare hospitals and make informed healthcare decisions. CMS posted
potential changes to the Hospital Star Ratings for public comment. You are
welcome to share your comments during this forum.
