The Trump Administration has just released its final
rule on the expansion of Health Reimbursement Arrangements. NAHU will have
more information on this rule in tomorrow's Washington Update, next week's
Healthcare Happy Hour podcast and in the July Compliance Corner webinar
session.
The rule was promulgated in response to an executive
order issued by President Trump on October 12 directing federal agencies to
expand the availability of Association
Health Plans, short-term
plans and HRAs. The proposed
rule was released last October and NAHU submitted comments
on the proposal in December.
