Kansas Governor Laura Kelly (D) last week said she has reached...
...a bipartisan agreement with the
state's Republican-held legislature to expand Medicaid. The proposal, which
includes provisions to create a program to help the newly eligible adult
population find employment (but not a traditional work requirement) still must
gain official legislative approval. Kansas currently serves 400,702 Medicaid
beneficiaries, with 91.0% enrolled in managed care plans.
