How an organization is meeting Holocaust survivors'
needs
The nonprofit Kavod has partnered with more than 60 groups to
provide Holocaust survivors in the US with funds to buy necessities and arrange
home repairs and transportation. Social worker Liz Levy, who works for a
partner organization in New Jersey, says Kavod has helped 150 local survivors
whose needs might have otherwise gone unmet as they age due to funding
challenges.
