Teledentistry Helps Provide Right Care at Right Time   During the COVID-19 pandemic, dental providers turned to teledentistry visits to triage and communicate with patients. New research from CareQuest Institute sheds light on outcomes from those visits, finding that they were, on average, less expensive and that 6 out of 10 individuals who used the technology had a problem-focused evaluation at their next in-person visit. The research, conducted at oral health centers in Oregon and Washington, also revealed that teledentistry can increase access in rural settings.
