Businesses wait for
federal vaccine mandate rules
President Biden announced nearly a month ago that he would be imposing a
vaccine mandate for large employers. But many are still waiting to see
how the mandate will actually play out, wrote
my colleague (and occasional Coronavirus Next writer!) Anissa
Gardizy.
"But critical questions remain to be answered," Gardizy wrote.
"When the mandate goes into effect, exactly what it requires, whom
it applies to, and how it will be enforced all hinge on a rule still
being drafted by the federal Occupational Safety and Health
Administration, which might not be ready for weeks."
