...launch its first Affordable Care Act exchange products in North Carolina, with coverage beginning Jan. 1, 2022. The six plans will be available in 25 counties in the state. The insurer said its "Next Generation Model of Care" aims to address its members social needs and improve health equity. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina currently dominates the state's exchange market with about 400,000 members, 77.8% of all exchange lives.
