Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period is here

medicare dot gov
Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period is here, so now’s the time to think about what matters to you, and find the Medicare plan that meets your needs. Visit Medicare.gov from October 15 to December 7 to make any changes before your new coverage becomes effective on January 1.

Here's what you can do during the annual Medicare Open Enrollment Period:

  • Review your plan notice
  • Think about what services and benefits you’re likely to use in the coming year
  • Shop for plans that best fit your needs and budget—the lowest-cost health plan might not be the best choice for you
  • Check your plan’s star rating before you enroll. Look for plans with a 5-star performance rating.
Use the Medicare Plan Finder to compare plans. You may find Medicare Advantage plans that offer additional coverage on vision and hearing.
Sincerely,
The Medicare Team
