Kentucky's Medicaid program currently serves...
...1,491,685 people, about 27%
through Medicaid expansion. State officials have previously estimated that its
work requirement would have reduced the Medicaid population by about 95,000
lives. On June 29, 2018, just days before Kentucky was set to begin
incorporating work requirements into its Medicaid program, a federal judge
blocked implementation of the program, calling it "arbitrary and
capricious."
